Cherry Grove Gay Pride
GROVE GAY PRIDE PARADE
A CORNUCOPIA OF COLOR & CREATIVITY
By MARTHA
Denise and Paul the parade organizers, together with the guy who designed the rainbow flag (originally with a pink stripe, most of the time the pink is not part of the 'standard' rainbow flag
Denise, carrying on the Arts Project circus theme for this summer
After the parade we had the first ever downtown festival, which consisted mostly of a rib-cook off. Alex, Zach and friend the judges of the rib contest were helping at the Arts Project booth where we sold soft drinks, water and snacks to go along with the ribs, which the public could buy for $1 a rib. Porsche, (out of drag so I guess it is Brandt), Denise and Wendy were judges.
